I received that question from a reader this morning after all of the solar plays gapped lower along with the energy sector. For the record, I did a “bonus video” for book purchasers on 8/20, when the majority of solar stocks were much lower. On Friday I suggested that YGE is susceptible to a short squeeze and I was long the call options. I have sold all of the options at a profit. No doubt that the solar stocks have had great runs and I did not recommend them, I merely outlined a TRADE I was involved in. RISK MANAGEMENT IS JOB #1. How you trade is up to you, but if you control risk, almost any strategy can be a profitable one.
