Uranium Energy Corp. was pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with URN Resources Inc., a subsidiary of Uranium One Inc., and an agreement in principle with Everest Exploration Inc., to collectively acquire a 100% ownership interest in the South Texas Mining Venture, L.L.P. (STMV), a Texas limited liability partnership.

Uranium Energy has already entered into a Securities Purchase Agreement with South Texas Mining Venture. This purchase agreement will grant both Uranium Energy and URN Resources a 99% interest in South Texas Mining Venture’s common stock. Further, Uranium Energy Corporation has agreed to issue 2,500,000 shares of common stock to shareholders of South Texas Mining. The closing of the acquisition is still subject to a number of conditions that include the receipt of both parties consent and releases at closing.

Uranium Energy Corp. announced that its partner on the New Mexico Uranium mine has exercised its option to begin drilling at two areas at the site. Uram Limited has filed for exploration permits with the regulatory authorities on the Grants Ridge Uranium Project located 70 miles west of Albuquerque.

Uranium Energy Corp. is targeting the Armijo and F33 zones, two areas that have produced Uranium previously. Uram Limited is obligated to pay for the exploration and development of the mines up to the completion of a feasibility study.

The Grants Ridge Project is 5,620 acres in size and is targeting the Todlito Limestone. The project is in the Grants Mineral Belt, a prolific region that produced 340 million pounds of Uranium in the early 1980’s.

Uranium Energy Corpration (UEC) has had a rough past couple weeks from a technical analysis viewpoint. The stock price has been in a gradual downtrend since mid-July; however, the past three days have shown the bulls are back!

The key event that has occurred in the past three days is the breaking AND closing above of $2.05. This price level was the previous low from mid-June (tan circle), and proved to be a very solid area of support (yellow box). When this level failed, the price sank all the way to $1.80 before the buyers began to step back in. This level turned into a crucial resistance level after falling (support levels become resistance levels when they do not hold). Since $1.80, the price has seen nothing but green and the best part is, the price managed to get back above $2.05! Icing on the cake
