RightNow Technologies Inc. (RNOW) reported third-quarter 2009 earnings per share of 6 cents, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 1 cent.

Total revenue in the third quarter of 2009 was $38.7 million, compared to $36.2 million in the third quarter of 2008. Recurring revenue increased 15% to $29.7 million from $25.9 million last year. New, renewed and expanded customer relationships included Epson, FICO, iRobot, Lucent-Alcatel, The Men's Wearhouse, Nike, Photobox, TiVo, U.S. Air Force and Virgin Mobile. Professional service revenue was $9 million for the quarter, consistent with Q2 and in line with our expectations. The mix of revenue across geographies for the quarter was 72% for Americas, 19% for EMEA, and 9% for Asia-Pac.

For the third quarter, the average first year contract value was approximately $112,000, which is up from last quarter and last year.

ITT Corporation (ITT) has been awarded a $19.3 million order from the U.S. Army's Research Development & Engineering Command Acquisition Center under the OMNI VII contract for AN/PVS-14 night vision monocular devices. Eighty percent of these goggles are required by the U.S. Air Force with the remaining quantities for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army.  The AN/PVS-14 is a high-performance, lightweight and reliable night vision monocular that provides enhanced resolution for mobility and target identification. These rugged devices can be hand-held, head- or weapon-mounted or fitted to a camera. The AN/PVS-14 operates on a single AA battery and are equipped with ITT's thin-filmed proprietary Generation 3 Pinnacle image intensifier tube.  The Gen 3 Pinnacle tube has the ability to detect available light more than 10 times the power of previous generations. AAR Corp. (AIR) has been selected to provide maintenance and operations for the U.S. Air Force as part of a Northrop Grumman team. The contract is worth $600 million for nine years. The announcement was made following U.S. Air Force's selection of Northrop Grumman as the prime contractor for comprehensive depot maintenance and logistics for the U.S. Air Force's fleet of 59 KC-10 air refueling aircraft.   The Northrop Grumman team will provide supply chain services and logistics support for the KC-10 extender, a tanker and cargo aircraft. Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) bagged a $421.1 million contract from the U.S. Air Force for upgrading the Air Force’s command and control center, Weapon System Integrator. The company will provide systems engineering, integration, modernization, maintenance, management and contingency support. In recent times, Lockheed Martin has witnessed the cancellation of quite a few prominent programs such as the TSAT Mission Operations System (TMOS) contract, F-22 Raptor program and the VH-71 Presidential Helicopter (VH-71) program.
