EGPI Firecreek, Inc. (OTCBB:EFIR) announced today that it has signed a binding letter of intent to acquire privately owned South Atlantic Traffic Corporation (”SATCO”), a Florida corporation. SATCO has been in business since 2001 and has several offices throughout the Southeast United States. They carry a variety of products and inventory geared primarily towards the transportation industry, which reportedly generate nearly $15 million in annual revenues. SATCO’s products range from traffic signal equipment, traffic and light poles, data/video systems and ITS surveillance systems. With (accurate) earnings proving to be a difficult metric to rank stocks I took a look at stocks which paid a dividend yield of at least 5%, had no long term debt but had a market cap over $100m.
