Hi, this is Adam Hewison and I have just returned from vacation in Maine. This is my first day at the office and my first video from the digital den.
While I was away, I got to thinking about one of the oldest myths about trading: the buy and hold myth. While this strategy has worked in certain markets at certain times, I do not believe we are in a time frame where this strategy is going to meet with a lot of success.
The world around us is changing rapidly and therefore it is important to have strategies that can change with this new regime.
In today’s video I’m going to show how the buy and hold strategy is flawed when you compare it to our “Trade Triangle” technology. I think you will be surprised at the results and

The M2 flex machine gun is a belt-fed, recoil-operated, air-cooled, right-hand/left-hand feed compatible, crew-served arm and is suited for both offensive and defensive operations. The guns will be manufactured at the company’s Saco, Maine facility and its technology center in Burlington, Vermont will administer program management.
General Dynamics is likely to continue meeting investor expectations backed by strong revenue growth, margin expansion and cash flow generation. The recent acquisitions of Jet Aviation and Axle Tech, increased Navy spending and resumption of the Pander program for the Czech Republic will provide near-term upside potential despite apprehensions about

Permanent Closure of the Muskegon mill was in response to the weak demand for coated fine paper in the global markets. The company is focusing on improving profitability and returns in all its businesses.
The company said that the closure of the Muskegon Mill will not affect the product lines offered by Sappi Fine Paper North America. Products previously made at Muskegon will continue to be manufactured at the company's other paper mills in Skowhegan, Maine and Cloquet, Minnesota.
To match its production to current demand levels and reduce inventories, Sappi has implemented various capacity reduction measures across its plants in North America and Europe, including the mills acquired

Well the good news is that hurricane Bill missed Maine and the rest of the Eastern seaboard this past weekend. Too close for my liking. Huge surf and lots and lots of rain was the order of the day.
I thought you would like to see a picture of my father-in-law, Retired Admiral Harold Rich. We don’t use his formal title up here, but I thought you might notice his hat. You see, Harry loves to wear hats and I thought he would enjoy one of our new MarketClub hats.
It was Harry who came up with the phrase “To small to succeed “ that I recently used in a blog posting. So that’s one of the reasons why Harry is modeling his new MarketClub hat, the other is that he looks darn good in one.
Just to keep you all

Well here I am at my vacation home in Maine watching the markets go crazy. Yes, we are so lucky to have access to the Internet and to the markets themselves no matter where we are in the world.
I didn’t plan on doing a video today, but the market action left me no choice. Today we witnessed an important “Trade Triangle” signal in this major index that should not be ignored.
In my new video, I share with you this same signal that thousands of MarketClub members witnessed and will discuss some of the potential downside targets for this index.
This is a video that is worth watching as I think we should all be prepared for what lies ahead.
There is no need to register for this video and of course you can watch it with my compliments.

Before I get into the “Cash For Traders” topic, I have something to share with you that is very disturbing. I am getting spammed… that’s right, spammed by the White House. I have never asked for e-mails from the White House, nor have I signed up for e-mails from the White House. But for some reason David Axelrod, a close adviser to President Obama, feels he can just e-mail me at will trying to sell Obama’s universal health package.
Mr. Axelrod please stop this practice now! (see White House Spam here)
I never ever envisioned the White House becoming a spammer, nor did I envision the White House resorting to spam tactics. The White House is using the same spam tactics as every other con artist. You know the ones I am talking about… get-rich-quick schemes and work at home

Dirk Van Dijk (June 30th, 2009) Writes:
Today is the end of the 2009 fiscal year, and many states are still scrambling to get budgets in place for the 2010 fiscal year. It is not easy since when the economy turns south, so do tax revenues, and states are not allowed to run deficits or borrow for operating needs. Some states have managed to cut costs or raise taxes enough to close their deficits for the upcoming year. The only two states without a budget problem are Montana and North Dakota. As shown in the table below (from http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=711), the total spending cuts or revenue increase needs to be $166 billion or 24% of the projected budget. To some extent states have used "rainy day funds" and the money from the Federal Stimulus bill to close some of the gap. Still the problem is very severe with 5 states (CA, AZ,
