Uranium Hunter Corporation (URHN.OB), a natural resource company focused on the exploration and development of uranium and gold deposits in East Africa, continues to push forth effort at its Ruhuhu site in Tanzania.

Throughout the summer, Uranium Hunter has been working on the Ruhuhu site. In July, the company’s helicopter performed an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey of the area. The 1,000 line kilometer provided the company with information to make determinations on where uranium would be most likely be present. In August, the company began its advanced field program at ground targets that were determined from the helicopter survey data. Systematic sampling was conducted at each ground target, followed by pitting and trenching at areas that indicated promising results.

Today, Uranium Energy announced that it has recorded a Geiger-counter reading of 1253 cps at Ruhuhu Target 4, the highest single reading so far. According to the company, the reading was recorded 145 m east of the base line of the trend anomaly.

This success is the latest news from the company regarding its ground crew’s efforts to map Target 4 for trenching, pitting and systematic sampling. Uranium Energy said it will continue to inform its shareholders with the latest updates from its field program as they become available.

Taking into account these encouraging results, the company intends to move forward with trenching, pitting, and systematic sampling at Target 4 while continuing with its existing field program. The company stated that it will be reporting further updates to shareholders as results become available.

Uranium Hunger also announced that it is in the process of finalizing and executing a stock option plan for its officers, directors and consultants. The details of the stock option plan are expected to be announced in the future.
