A number of different factors have converged, creating what could be a lift-off point for the price of silver (and gold). This confluence of readily verifiable factors shows the silver market to be in a low risk and high reward situation. The factors involve both the paper and physical silver markets. The only question, as always, is if the manipulators, led by JPMorgan and protected by the CFTC, can thwart the set up once prices rally.

The structure in the paper markets, as defined by the CFTC’s latest Commitment of Traders (COT) and Bank Participation Reports, as well as the year-end OTC Derivatives Report by The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, are extremely bullish on any objective historical basis. Today after the bell, Hybrid Technologies proudly announced that they took the spotlight at the recent pre-Emmy Gifting Suite in Hollywood. The company’s LiV(TM) FLASH, a 100% lithium powered version of the BMW Mini Cooper, was the first electric vehicle to be featured at the event held by GBK Productions.

According to the company, dazzled celebrities included Nancy Cartwright, voice of Bart Simpson, who said, “You Dude, Go Electric!” Isaiah Washington was shocked, asking, “It’s all Electric?” Emmy-award winning actress Jean Smart couldn’t wait to tell her son about the company’s lithium-powered vehicles.

More than 50 celebrities signed the Hybrid Technologies board, which will be auctioned off for a Global Green event during the week of the Oscars. Those who signed the board included Randy Jackson, Vern Troyer, the cast of Dancing With The Stars, Neil Patrick Harris, and more.

The background of our team members is in recognizing the need for experts in various fields to join together to solve problems.  My own background includes many projects of this sort.  I directed educational programs where scientists, economists, and public policy experts jointly taught seminars on complex policy issues.  I worked in government, where economists and political scientists versed in tax policy cooperated in major studies.  I have advised and helped to finance early stage companies that involved complex relationships of financing, science, engineering, and business acumen.
