Comcast, (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK) the nation’s leading provider of entertainment, information and communications products and services, today announced it is launching next-generation DOCSIS 3.0 and making the leap from broadband to wideband in San Francisco’s East Bay and North Bay area’s (see complete list of cities below). With the launch, Comcast has now completed its rollout of the fastest and most reliable wideband service in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company previously deployed wideband in the San Jose-Silicon Valley area, in San Francisco and on the Peninsula, in portions of the East Bay and in the Monterey-Salinas area earlier this year.

EnergySolutions, Inc. (NYSE: ES) announced today the award of two sub-contracts at the Hanford Site Waste Treatment Plant for the support of waste mix testing. Together these contracts are valued at greater than $15 Million.

Digital River, Inc. (NASDAQ:DRIV), a leading provider of global e-commerce solutions, announced that it has launched a new global B2B e-commerce site to merchandise and sell leadership development products for publisher Lominger International, a Korn/ Ferry International company. In addition to running the new online store for Lominger, Digital River also is assisting in developing strategic promotional campaigns and optimizing site performance.

Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. (Nasdaq:EGLE) will report its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2009, after the close of stock market trading on Wednesday, August 5th. Members of Eagle Bulk’s senior management team will host a teleconference and webcast at 8:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, August 6th, to discuss the results.

IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced a five-year global information technology services agreement with American Express. IBM will use its global delivery capabilities to manage the mid-range server environment for American Express and will deliver advanced levels of energy savings, standardization and virtualization using IBM’s service management processes.
