MedeFile International and its products are a sham. The service is useless to physicians and they fradulently claim to be able to assist in urgent or acute care. This is good example of the snake oil passing as qualified medical tools and technologies. Look closer at their web site and company info available throughout the Internet. They have no substance or medical components whatsoever. They have no medical personnel on staff.
Furthermore, a few of my patients report that their records supposedly collected on their behalf by the MedeFile service, were incomplete, overly costly (in one case exceeding $500) and horribly presentede and contructed. For patients facing chronic illness, this service may provide dangerously false hopes. I know of no serious physician that consider this product either usable or helpful in a treatment or diagnostic capacity.
BEWARE! Medefile offers nothing! Check with your doctor first!
