Cavitation Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CVAT) has announced that it has filed PCT patent applications for new International Patent protections for its Nano Cavitation Technologies
Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE: MDT), announced today the initiation of a feasibility study of an interventional treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED) that uses a specially-designed drug-eluting stent system. The study, called ZEN (Zotarolimus-Eluting Peripheral Stent System for the Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction in Males with Sub-Optimal Response to PDE5 Inhibitors), is being performed under an investigational device exemption (IDE) issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is expected to enroll a total of 50 subjects at up to ten medical centers in the United States over the next year.
Textron Defense Systems, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today that its Tactical Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) Airbag Protection System, known as TRAPS, has successfully completed testing at the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC) in Socorro, New Mexico. This testing was accomplished under the supervision of the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center, or TARDEC.
