* Rite Aid (NYSE:RAD) reported first quarter loss of 11 cents, topping estimates by 2 cents, as revenues dropped 1.2% to $5.5 billion, inline with Street projections

* China Petroleum & Chemical (NYSE:SNP) announced agreement to purchase Addax Petroleum for $7.3 billion cash
