Bridgeline Software (BLSW:NASDAQ) is a developer of on-demand web application software. The company provides customers with end-to-end solutions that optimize business processes through web-based technologies.

On August 7,2008, Bridgeline Software announced record results for its third fiscal quarter and nine months ended June 30, 2008. Some highlights for the company from the 3rd quarter included record revenues of $5.7 million, an increase of 131% versus the same period last year and a 291% increase in Bridgeline’s customer base to 539 customers. For the nine month period ending June 30, 2008, the company had revenues of $15.3 million, an increase of 119% versus the same period last year. These results do not include the recent acquisition of Indigo, which closed on July 1, 2008.

Bridgeline Software CEO Thomas Massie was pleased with the company’s results. Mr. Massie stated, “Despite the weak economic conditions present throughout the nation, we are very pleased with our continued strong revenue growth, record customer additions, and improved profitability. The traction and interest in our on-demand web application management software tools, iAPPS, continues to remain strong. We believe the recent merger with Indigo will only enhance our future financial performance.”
