If you think about the industrial packaging industry and how our products get shipped around the globe, you probably realize that most of what’s inside that box is packaging elements. Vital Products Inc. is a distributor of industrial packaging products. The Company, through its research and development arm in Canada and the US, intends to patent, trademark and/or license new products and systems that it can be used to establish itself as a leader in environmentally sustainable packaging options.

Styrofoam packing peanuts are so last decade. Plastic products like bubble materials and packaging foams create a large spread environmental problem. Our landfills are being continuously saturated with packaging pieces for those precious bubbles we like to buy. Although significant science has been done with regards to new environmental appropriate products, little of this technology has found its way to market.

Vital Products, through its relationship with two research and product development companies, has now tapped into this scientific stream. Vital has developed communication lines with the University of Toronto, Kansas State University and the research and development arm of the US Agricultural Department.

Vital Products is in development of many environmentally sensitive products, which may change the face of the industry. The following products are in the final stages of development and the company will be the first to market.

Biofill is a biobased foam in place packaging material used as cushioning in electronic, giftware, automotive and machine parts.

E-coplank a biobasd packaging foam plank used in the fabrication of cushion packaging for high end products currently in development.

E-Foam biobased flexible foam used in automotive components such as head rests.

Enviro-fill is a loose fill packaging biobased foam used in void fill packaging in giftware and electronics markets.
