In the shadow of a looming recession, and with many people questioning Barack Obama’s ability to properly handle an impossibly delicate financial situation, American stocks lost ground on Wednesday, with world markets following suit. Trading on Wednesday mirrored a 300-point spike on Tuesday, with the Dow falling sharply, and lending credence to expectations of continued volatility in financial markets.
