On September 11th, 2008 Nutrition 21 reported that study results released by the US government’s National Toxicology Program support the safety of short-term and long-term use of Chromax chromium picolinate. Multiple safety studies were performed in animals, including a two-year study using daily dose of chromium picolinate equivalent to 50,000 times the common human dose found in supplements.
