Elephant Talk Communications, Inc. (ETAK.OB), telecommunications and content services provider, today announced plans to expand their telecommunication services offerings through the use of converged multimedia services, providing enhanced voice and video communications through mobile phone and Internet connections. The company calls it an important step in the development of converging multimedia applications. The move is made possible through the combined technical support of Quentris, Belgium based network technologies company, and Dilithium, California based mobile video leader.

Elephant Talk customers, primarily the business-to-business community within the telecommunications market, will be offered a range of new services, including multimedia communications, interactive voice and video portals, and content applications such as video-on-demand or streaming. The services will be available with 3G mobile phones or Flash-based Internet or PC applications. Elephant Talk expects to use the technologies to move into new service areas, including video surveillance and security, mobile to PC conferencing, video blogging, and user-generated content video.
