Dow Fluctuates Amid Prolonged Uncertainty

Trading was mixed on Wednesday, as investors weighed the many new developments affecting our nation’s fiscal health. Early-morning trading got off to a shaky start, although by midday, indexes were mostly up. Shortly before the end of the day, a surge to nearly 9400 points was experienced, but just prior to the closing bell, the Dow fell again to just under 9000. This comes just one day following a surge of nearly 900 points.
