ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd., a mobile workforce management company, announced earlier this week that it has a big time client aboard for its suite of services. The unnamed Fortune 500 property and casualty insurance company will use ClickSoftware tools to schedule and dispatch claims representatives – employees and independent contractors – for its home and vehicle inspections.

ClickSoftware’s integrated ServiceOptimization Suite includes ClickSchedule, ClickMobile, ClickLocate and ClickAnalyze. Through wireless handhelds the employees and managers can communicate, providing efficient route location, and analytical tools that show many layers of operational data in easy-to-read formats such as job status and job priorities.

“As a company, we are always looking for new ways in which to bring the benefits of service optimization to a wider audience,” said ClickSoftware CEO Hannan Carmeli. “The insurance industry is still a relatively new market for ClickSoftware, and this win is evidence to the need for scheduling and optimization solutions in this important industry.”
