ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd. (CKSW) Management Software Now Used By European Heating Company, e.l.m. leblanc

ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd. announced that its management efficiency software has been adopted by e.l.m. leblanc, just in time for France’s winter. ClickSoftware’s Installation, Maintenance and Repair Services solution, ClickIMRS, was chosen to help the gas boiler manufacturer manage scheduling and street level routing of about 300 after-sale field technicians, handling more than 300,000 customer appointments per year.
“Our partnership with e.l.m leblanc marks our commitment to the French market as we broaden our local implementation and technical support capabilities,” said Hannan Carmeli, ClickSoftware COO. “In the current economic climate it is more important than ever that companies find ways of becoming more efficient without compromising on service level and customer satisfaction. Field service optimization technology is one of the few investments available today that can help achieve just that.”
e.l.m leblanc is a subsidiary of Bosch, and employs 700 people while achieving annual sales of €120 million (Euros). It chose ClickSoftware because of the products’ flexibility and configurability of the product, as well as expertise in the service industry, a ClickSoftware news release said.
“We are continually looking at ways in which we can drive operational efficiencies through the introduction of new technologies,” said Eric Payan, e.l.m leblanc Chief Information Officer. “The introduction of optimized scheduling and routing has the dual advantage of not only driving down costs but also enhancing customer satisfaction and, consequently, preventing customer churn.”
