Bridgeline Software, Inc., a leading developer of SaaS-based web application management and web application software, has been honored for two recent creations. Bridgeline developed applications for Beverly Hospital and Schiff Harden, and both of these applications were honored in the WebAwards for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development by the Web Marketing Association.
The WebAwards were founded by the Web Marketing Association in 1997 and are an annual standards-defining competition that sets industry benchmarks for the best websites in 96 industry categories submitted by interactive agencies and website marketing departments in more than 47 countries from around the world.
The application developed for Beverly Hospital was recognized by winning an award in both the Health Care Standard of Excellence and Non-Profit Standard of Excellence categories. The new site offers streamlined navigation enabling users to easily access content and unique features such as a physician finder aspect and an appointment registration tool.
The website developed for Schiff-Hardin won in the legal standard of excellence category. The most dynamic aspect of this website is that repeat visitors are remembered and provided quick access to information they have previous visited.
Bridgeline is led by president and CEO, Thomas Massie. Massie has been the leader of Bridgeline since the company’s inception in 2000 and has been a major player in the industry, heading up numerous companies since 1986. Massie has brought his experience and outside-the-box thinking to Bridgeline and guided the company to become a leader in their field.
