True Religion Apparel, Inc. focuses on designing, manufacturing and marketing apparel, including its premium True Religion Brand Jeans. The company was founded in 2002 with the purpose of redefining premium denim. Total net sales for the first quarter totaled $63.6 million, a 19.1% increase from the same period a year earlier, and net income increased 9.8%. Commenting on his company’s financial results, CEO Jeffrey Lubell emphasized their commitment to deliver innovative jeans, sportswear and licensed products, while reaching more consumers through branded retail stores and wholesale partners.
