KBLB.OB had record-breaking volume today, trading more than 745,000 shares. The stock closed at $0.375, up 50% from yesterday’s close and just slightly beneath its 52-week high. The huge day can be attributed to shareholders rushing to purchase shares on the last trading day before the record date of the recently announced dividend and news of a spider silk discovery that substantially increases the strength of the natural fiber.
