Cereplast, Inc., a designer and developer of proprietary bio-based, sustainable plastics that are used as substitutes for petroleum-based plastics in all major converting processes, recently announced a new strategic partnership with Chase Plastics, one of North America’s fastest growing, full-service specialty engineering thermoplastic distributors, to distribute Cereplast’s bio-based resins in North America.
Operating more than 20 warehouses throughout North America, Chase Plastics delivers specialty, engineering and commodity thermoplastics in a wide variety of compounds encompassing every thermoplastic. This strategic partnership solidifies Cereplast’s commitment to broadening the supply of its bio-based resins to North American plastics processors.
Kevin Chase, president of Cereplast, stated, “With this agreement we are able to supply Cereplast Compostables® and Hybrids® to a wide range of plastics processors to create the innovative, “green” products that today’s brands and retailers are looking for to meet their sustainability objectives.”
