This just came over the wire from RIA Novosti, and was also reported earlier on Robert Amsterdam’s Twitter feed:
Jailed Yukos founder Mikhail Khodorkovsky accused Russia’s Federal
Security Service (FSB) on Monday of listening in on his lawyers’
telephone conversations.“I have sufficient grounds to suppose that
since the start of hearings, FSB structures, illegally interfering in
the trial, have taken control of telephones and other means of
communications used by my lawyers,” Khodorkovsky said in court.Khodorkovsky said that while he had no direct evidence to back up his
claims, he believed the FSB was acting on behalf of the Prosecutor
General’s Office. The Prosecutor General’s Office declined to comment.
