Bank stocks slip as offers dilute some firms a bit

The KBW Bank ETF (KBE), which tracks the industry sector, fell 0.4%. Banks are rushing to raise capital without government assistance, because that is one of the preconditions for repayment of previous government investment that the Fed laid out late Monday.
