TechCheck for Top Rated US Stocks

In our last article, we applied our TechCheck evaluation system to 52 ETFs representing a large swath of the investment category alternatives.  In this article, we apply the TechCheck evaluation to twelve top rated individual US stocks.

We identified the twelve US stocks that both Standard & Poor’s and Value Line rate in their top two categories for near-term performance, attractive valuation and financial strength.

Those twelve are doubly screened for fundamentals by two noted organizations.  Independent of the fundamentals, what does the price action say about the situation?

Here are those stocks and the way they stack up under the lens of our TechCheck system:

Of the twelve BEC, CVS, IBM and UNH come out looking better than the others, but all remain in a primary down trend at this time.
