Retail sales blast off in China

The biggest mistake that the Wall Street crowd makes about China is that (a) it is overestimates the impact of the slowing U.S. economy on China and (b) underestimates the rapidly growing impact of China’s own free-spending consumers.

Retail sales increased by 23.3% in July, the fastest pace since 1999.

That’s up from 22.4% in June.

Figure out what the Chuppies (Chinese Yuppies) are buying and you’ll make a bundle.
