Standard & Poor’s has sifted its database for some attractive dividend-paying names in the mid-cap group, each of which carries a 4 STARS (buy) or 5 STARS (strong buy) ranking from an S&P analyst, meaning they are expected to outperform the broader market and rise in price over the next 12 months. So not only do you get paid to hold these stocks, but you also have the potential for capital appreciation as well.
