Perf Go Green, a marketer and distributor of biodegradable plastics, is rolling out their first products later on this month. The company announced this morning that consumers will be able to purchase the company’s 13-gallon kitchen trash bags and 30-gallon lawn and leaf bags on Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) beginning in mid-June.

Perf Go Green believes that consumers who want to help save the planet can buy the company’s biodegradable kitchen bags and make a difference because the company’s patented products are made of recycled plastics that are combined with an oxo-biodegradable proprietary application method to produce the film for the bags. This method of production was noted at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago earlier this year where Perf Go Green’s products received an honor for their design quality and innovation.

Since the bags are biodegradable, after using them, consumers can throw them out, and in 12-14 months they are completely broken down. According to the detail design of the bags, when discarded into soil and exposed to the presence of microorganisms, moisture and oxygen, the products decomposes into simple materials found in nature much faster than regular plastics, which can take hundreds of years to break down. Through this process and the use of recycled plastics, the company effectively removes plastic waste from the environment.

Perf Go Green’s CEO, Tony Tracy stated, “By offering our products on Amazon.com, we’re providing consumers another easy way to purchase our products prior to hitting grocery store shelves. Perf Go Green is about education and making simple changes that facilitate a greener lifestyle. Amazon.com offers a number of environmentally conscience products, making it a convenient one-stop destination for finding these complementary green products.”

Along with making its products available online, Perf Go Green will be rolling out its first items in nationwide chain stores later this year.
